The morning of September 11, 2001 remains one of the most pivotal points in American history. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the 9/11. Those events are forever etched in the minds of those who remember the day.

This day gives us time to reflect on those lives that were lost during this devastating event. There are many things we can do to show our love and respect to all those nearly, 3000 lives taken. We must consider what we stand for as a nation and how we can work together as a nation to make this a better place.

We can observe this day by having a moment of silence, reading the names of those who lost their lives, lower flags in remembrance, provide service locally or create your own day of observance.
